Bid Analysis & Construction Buyout

After a complete set of Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical plans with specifications is submitted to competing general contractors by the development team,  competing contractors bit to perform the work. During bid analysis the team looks at the degree of competition, reasonableness of the low bid in comparison with the engineer’s estimate, and the presence of mathematical or material unbalancing.

Buyout is the transitional time between the preconstruction and the construction phases of a project. It is during buyout that purchase orders and subcontracts are issued. Working closely with construction management team and general contractors at this stage is crucial to the overall implementation, project’s timing and budget.
